Donna Harcourt

Donna Harcourt is an artist, educator and designer. Her love for painting began when she was a little girl and would paint with her mother as she painted for craft shows. After raising her family and working as a nurse for over 25 years, Donna rediscovered her love for painting in many medias. She paints in Acrylics, Watercolor, Alcohol Inks and is a professional face painter. In the early year of 2000, she started going to conventions and any painting classes she could find. Donna continued to grow in her education from these many talented teachers and from that developed her own style of painting. Her hope is to share her knowledge and passion for painting with others. Donna has taught at conventions such as, World of Color Expo, Heart of Ohio Tole painters, and Creative Painting. Her work has been featured in online magazines and other web pages. Donna has earned certifications from One Stroke Certification Instructor and Traditions Artists. She is a DecoArt Helping Artist and loves to demonstrate DecoArt and Dynasty products. Donna also has won the award of “Most favorite Artist” from the Greencastle Arts Council in 2020. Donna currently teaches at her home studio, assisted living facilities and travel teaches at Art retreats and other venues. Also host and teach canvas parties for adults and children and for many groups and participate in teaching many fund raisers. Donna is a co-owner of a Face painting business called “Artistic Colors” and regularly face paints at private parties, corporate events and festivals. Watching the children and adults see their fantasy come to life and the smiles through her painting is one of the most rewarding kind of painting.
